Our immediate plight right now is having three (3) dogs in a kennel. Due to the fact that we do not have appropriate foster homes for them, but we could not let them suffer in the shelter.
Timmy is about three-years old and came from North Carolina. He probably was an outdoor dog and has never lived in a loving warm home before. He has never seen a television or a vacuum cleaner and is very nervous inside a home. Timmy has been in a kennel in East Otto since last November. He has come a long way and is now very trusting of people. Our volunteers regularly visit him, take him on walks and to adoption events, and socialize him as much as possible - but ultimately our goal is to get him either into a foster home or adopted to a great family.
Kaelyo now called Leo and Remy were taken from RAS a few months ago and are now living at the Kennels of Clarence. Although it is a great kennel, it's still no place for a dog to spend its life.
Leo is a one-a-half-year old put mix who is neutered, good with other dogs and gives the sloppiest kisses around! He's a very, very sweet boy who would make an excellent addition to the right home. He can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but warms up quickly.
Remy is a one-year old girl who is a wonderful, loving girl that knows sit, down and touch. She loves her soft toys and just carries it around. She'd gladly give it to you especially for a treat. She has been at the shelter way too long and has gotten kennel stress so bad her eyes are always red. She just needs to decompress. At this time, she does not get along with strong females but she is good with young males - and she calms down away from a shelter environment. She's also kind a leery around some men and slow introductions are a must. Please give this GORGEOUS girl a chance!
You can apply to adopt Timmy, Leo, Remy or any of the Educate-A-Bull adoptable dogs at http://educateabull.rescuegroups.org/.
For our campaign, we would like to raise $2,500 to cover two months of boarding for Timmy, Leo, and Remy. Right now we pay $45 a day (about $1,350 a month) for all three dogs - and this does not include our food cost.
Please consider donating - 100% of this Pawraiser campaign will go to Educate-A-Bull, no credit card processing fees or platform fees.
For donations by check, please send to Educate-A-Bull at PO Box 388, Buffalo, NY 14205.
