In early March 2017 Educate A Bull, a 501(c)(3) educational bully breed rescue in Buffalo, NY received a desperate plea to help save a sick dog that was in imminent danger of not leaving the shelter.
The kind people were Midge's voice of hope looking for someone to save her when she was running out of options. Midge was pulled from the shelter and placed into an EAB foster home last Friday March 10th.
Since leaving the shelter her health has steadily declined. She's been vomiting, having diarrhea and not able to eat. This poor girl has been losing weight as well.
Midge's foster rushed her to the vet for treatment and they ultimately decided to admit her. She is currently being treated with IV fluids but will ultimately need x-rays, bloodwork, and a parvo test as well. The vet will also be checking her for a possible foreign body that would require lifesaving surgery. We are also consulting with the vet to see if her right eye can be saved, if not Midge will require surgery to have it removed.
Please consider a donation of any amount for Midge's veterinary care. No amount is too small! Every dollar helps us get that much closer to our goal!
Whenever EAB helps save a dog we never think of how much is this going to cost us. It is always about how can we help. Please consider donating TODAY so we can continue to help Midge heal and live the happy life every dog should be destined for! Help spread the word!
Please consider donating - 100% of this Pawraiser campaign will go to Educate-A-Bull, no credit card processing fees or platform fees. For donations by check, please send to Educate-A-Bull at PO Box 388, Buffalo, NY 14205.
